Norman Macler - Age 79 passed away on August 8, 2010.  Norm was initiated June of 1953 and retired February 1, 1993. 

Dale Cooper - Age 30 passed away suddenly in a car accident on March 26, 2010.  Dale was initiated in March 2001 and worked for Kneaper Electric in Eureka. 

Dan Parker - Age 57 passed away suddenly on March 22, 2010.  Dan was initiated in 1999 and was living in Arizona. 

Ed Gugel - Age 66 passed away suddenly on February 22, 2010.   Ed was initiated in 1964 and worked on numerous jobs.  He worked in the capacity of general foreman on many of those jobs.  Ed was the father of members Ed Gugel (owner of R McClure Electric) and Tom Gugel (employee of R McClure Electric.

Jerry Horn - Age 65 passed away on January 20, 2010.  Jerry was initiated in December 1971. Jerry was retired but his last employers were Golden State Electric and Joe Lunardi Electric.

Richard Clarey - Age 78 passed away on January 19, 2010.  Rich was initiated on February 1, 1957 and completed the apprenticeship and worked on many jobs in Local 551's jurisdiction.  He held  many offices including Treasurer, Pension & Health & Welfare Trust Funds, JATC,  Executive Board and President and retired in the position of Business Manager/Financial Secretary for 18 years.  He is the father of members David and Mitch Clarey and grandfather of Trevor Clarey. 

 Brian Peterson- Age 53 passed away on December 30, 2009.  Brian was initiated in 1978 and had worked for Quinto & Young until he was unable to work due to cancer.
